A Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Approach for Warehouse Location Selection using TOPSIS
نویسندگان
چکیده
This research makes use of the Method for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution, also known as TOPSIS approach, in order discover most suitable site a company's warehouse. Following establishment criteria selection warehouse location, weights were allotted each criteria. The min-max method was utilized do data normalization once it had been collected prospective location. After constructing decision matrix with weighted normalized values and determining ideal non-ideal solutions criterion, results then presented. calculation Euclidean distance between potential location solutions, formula used determine relative proximity locations. that highest closeness optimum solution chosen be optimal By employing this strategy, company will able make an educated regarding their warehouse, which will, long run, result improved operational efficiency cost savings.
